Food was great. Bought chile verde burrito and machaca burrito was fire. Ordered tamales to go and some fresh corn tortilla masa for the house. People are always great with great service.

A Stockton staple!! Burritos and tamales are freak'n bomb. I was never a big fan of bean and cheese burritos until I came to El Dorado. Now it's really the only thing I get. Sometimes I get bean, cheese and guacamole burritos. So good! I also get bags of tortilla chips here. The ladies are always friendly at the front. Prices are very reasonable as well!

Best tamales in town. Today I tried the chili relleno for $5 and it was delicious. I never leave without a salsa and seriously need to explore this place more. We also get our masa preparado and the masa is good, too. Love me some el dorado market! Oh, if you want chicken tamales, you better call and order them early. They DO SELL OUT FAST. Photo is 2 tamales (chicken and beef) and a full size dinner plate. I got a dozen for $27.50
Decent prices hot foods & taste good as well. We usually go for their breakfast burritos. Service is quick, there's usually 3-4 cashiers. Calling ahead is recommended they do get packed, but still quick with orders. Love the it's a little market but also does hot foods. Hidden gem!
It's been years since I have been here. Went early to avoid large crowds. I ordered some pork and cheese tamales and some pastries. Everything was very good. I will definitely be coming back. I want to try their menudo next. Heads up, The menudo is only made on Saturday and Sunday. Can't wait.
Best beef tamales that we had in awhile .More meat than masa,good flavor and very thick.My batch of 12 were finished in 2 days.Not greasy or musshy.Ate one in car and the tamale did not fall apart after I pulled husk. Have eaten these since we were younger. My grandmother abuelita and mom bought the mask here to make ur homemade ones. Friendly market always packed luckily we call in our order to fill our table with good tamales .

Ordered pork tamales here and they were delicious! Not sure if we are to request salsa with it or it just doesn't come with it but luckily we bought a container of it before we left. Also shout out to the guy behind the meat counter, he was super helpful with every question I had.
